I couldn't resist and decided to skip a few grades to read those. The're very good, or at least the first half of the second one was, I ran out of time. Thanks for the link.

Question still remains, what ministry? What is the purpose of the 7 years of higher education? Not that I should ever be one to judge, Lord forbid, just wondering what the thought process is behind it? This probably isn't the forum for that discussion though. And I think I am still about 15 steps behind either of those 2 excellent reads. I am still working my way through Luke.

There are big plans, I've got community college lined up for two years and then a transfer to UCSD to complete a major in philosophy. After that I'd like to go to Talbot to do graduate work but I guess we'll see what the Lord does, as for doctorate work in philosophy I'm not sure yet, as I gather there are only a few places where you can get good Christian doctorates in philosophy (Notre Dame, Cambridge) but that may change seven or so years from now.
And then on into ministry. Not to say that I won't have a great deal of fun with people who aren't on my side of the great divide all the way through.

Any details on the ministry plans or will the tale be told as it unfolds? Best of luck to you, hopefully the discussion posts won't stop.
